About Phil
Phil Tulga received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. For the last 30 years, Phil has presented educational programs at elementary schools in the Sacramento area. In addition, he has taught Music for Children at American River College, and Jazz Studies courses at CSU, Sacramento. Phil has been honored by the Mayor and Sacramento City Council for his work in the area of arts education and music. As a professional musician, he has performed with the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Broadway Sacramento/Music Circus, and jazz/pop greats including Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
